I love Lady Gaga... she stylin' on 'em even when she crippled and in a wheelchair. This chick is the definition of Pop - every song on her album (the fame) is addicitingly catchy, her confidence seeps from her pores and she's lived my ficticious alter-ego's life (go-go dancer). I wouldnt call her pretty (um, Donatella Vercase?), at least not in the traditional sence, but who cares about pretty when you are sh!tting style out your ass. Shes become a fashion queen and she hasnt event been around for a year....

Can't Ignore the pattern here.... Black and White color tone, one backdrop setting, Beyonce + 2 dancers as the focal point.... The same as "Single Ladies" and "Diva," yet no video is the same..... The Choreogrpahy is killer and B is looking FIERCE!!!! I love her hair in this vid.....

ok did you get chills watching this or was it just me? IM SO EXCITED for this movie! this was a good week in Harry Potter fan world, as they have annouced the movie will now open two days earlier than previously planned. The new date is July 15 (a wednesday).

Ah! i can hardly sit still i cant wait. i always tell myself that in the summer i am going to hit the movie theater no less than once a week, but i never do it. This year is no different, I'm making the same pact. Alone, on a date, with friends or family i am hitting the theaters!

*fun fact - Last summer i worked as a leader at girl scout day camp in long beach and we had a harry potter week... it was so fun! we handmade wands, played quidditch, drank pumpkin juice and all the units were divided into "houses" (like in the book) and we decorated our units with house colors and gave out house points. wish i could go back this summer

Wow! Just Watching the previews for this new MTV reality show gets me amped. I hope it is exciting at the clip makes it seem. The Show premieres this month on the 19th and I cant wait!

This makes me want to dig through my old VHS tapes and watch my copy of "Fame" the movie. Speaking of, I'm uber excited for the remake of that, which is currently filming is is set to be released in September of this year.

Anyhoo, I am so jelly of these kids. Back in San Diego, growing up I used to beg my parents to let me attend the performing arts school, but no. I was in Junior Theater and took dancing and improv classes. I still remember the time I was supposed to audition for a play, but that same day my report card came home and I had a D, so my mom refused to take me to the audition. OH how it hurt!

Even today, I often think about how originally I wanted to apply to the University of Arts in Philly, to study musical theater, but my mom wouldnt even let me apply. It wasnt a real school she said. Every now and then I jab her about it. I cant help but wonder what my life would be like had I gone......

Tonight is the series premiere of Running in Heels, a reality-series that follows three young ladies interning at Marie-Claire magazine. It airs on the Style Channel at 8 PM Central Time and I cant wait!

I'm full of video clips today!

Man! I love America's Best Dance Crew! And I love the Beat Freaks! An all b-girl team???!!!! They are so freaking tight!

I have a short history wit ABDC.... during the first season I went to a show taping and ended meeting the boys from Status Quo, befriending some of them which eventually led to me getting to spend some time with the JaBBaWockees and Kabba Modern and Break Sk8. More about that another time.

Although I havent been able to attend any tapings this season, I really wish I could have (might attend the finale, not sure yet). They had some greta teams this season, and even better they had two all-female teams in the top three this season (Big up's to Fish N' Chicks, who paved the way).

My favorite Beat Freaks performance was the illusion challange (clip not available). Wow! I actually jumped out of my seat on that one (a big deal). I wish these ladies the best of luck, they deserve it! And it's time for a new type of winner (i wont explain that, either you know what I mean or you dont).

VH1 Storytellers: Kanye West

This was my favorite performance from last night's Storytellers: Kanye West on VH1. Flashing Lights is one of my favorite songs.

Im a fan of Kanyes music, but not him as a person. From what I understand, the Storytellers series is supposed to be various artists performing their music and then explaining the meaning and background behind it to viewers. Kanye stated from the beginning that there was only so much he would share, as a lot of it was personal. Understandable.

However when he did share he was mostly running off on a tyrant that often caused my mom to shout out "Change the Channel" and "I dont want to watch this crap" (but during his Good Life performance she said "There's the Kanye I love"). I read yesterday that a lot of what he said had to be cut out or edited because it was either offensive or controversial. Typical Kanye.

Jerkin' and the Reject....

So if you remember, earlier this week I went to a school function where all the freshmen were doing this crazy dance that I had never seen before and it made me feel super OOOOLLLLLDDDD. I usually be up on all the dances, but idk maybe i dont go out enough any more. So anyway, I went to see my little brother (15 going on 16) and I told him that I needed him to teach me a dance.

He knew exactly what I was talking about "OH you must mean the reject," he said, and then he showed me and that was indeed what I'd been talking about.

So he taught me. I SUCK, but at least I feel a little better about myself. I'm workin on it.......

If you wanna see the dance, watch the clips. The reject is the one where they look like they are skipping backwards. Other dances include the jerk and the dip.
