At the Think Thru Fashion Accessory Swap Soiree a couple weeks ago, I got a mini-makeover from YoungBlood Mineral Cosmetics. All attendees were gifted with what was described to me as a "summer pink" lipstick called Vivid, I'd been waiting for an opportunity to give the color a test run and I finally got my chance the other day.

The color went on thick and rich, so I had to blot a few times until I got a tint I was comfortable with. The lipstick was long-lasting and I only had to reapply a couple of times throughout the day. A lighter tint is good for the office or any daytime activities, but I would definitely wear it a little heavier for the nightlife.

It's not secret that I'm really anxious for Fall, so this fun pink was exactly what I needed achieve the summer-casual look that I was going for that day, Although this is isnt typically a color I would pick for myself, I was really comfortable wearing it so it's managed to warm it's way into my make-up bag. Overall I'm satisfied with the product, so I'll have to see what other amazing products Youngblood has to offer for... for the fall of course!
